Lanzar working aboard the Jewel, was employed as a quarter master. He was remanded to the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility in Dartmouth.
Returning to court, Lanzar pleaded guilty in Halifax provincial court to charges of importing and possessing child pornography.
The files related to the charges were horrendous. One of the video clips depicted a woman sexually abusing a two-year-old boy wearing diapers. The other was of a naked girl who appeared to be about 13.
Judge Sherar sentenced Mr. Lanzar to 100 days on each charge, to be served concurrently.
